We are so glad you’re here. Our hope is that you relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Below you’ll find everything you need to operate the cabin comfortably and safely.
This guide is broken up into “How To” and recommendations for different areas on cabin property, neighborhood and then broader area of Pigeon Forge/Sevierville/Gatlinburg.
This property is privately owned. Day to day support and maintenance is managed by Grand Welcome. If you have issues while at the cabin, support is available 24 / 7 by contacting (888) 919-4987.

Fireplace
The fireplace is propane and equipped with a timer. It is operational from October through March.
• Turn dial to pilot mode.
• Depress the ignite strike.
• Set your desired duration using the timer.
• The fireplace will automatically shut off when the timer runs out.
• Always ensure the fireplace is fully off before going to bed or leaving the cabin.
Do not place any items on or near the fireplace.
TV
Use the power button on the Sanyo remote to turn the tv on. The Sanyo remote will only be used to power on & off the TV. For remaining functions, use the Roku remote.
The first time you power on the TV, you will be promoted to enter your check out date and time. At the check out date/time, Roku will automatically wipe your login information and any apps you’ve downloaded during your stay. You will be promoted for this information the first time you turn on each TV in the cabin.
Use your own username & passwords for the apps available on the Roku.
Pet Friendly Baskets
The cabin is pet friendly. If you are traveling with a furry friend, please pick up their waste. There are an assortment of leashes, collars, pet blankets and waste collection bags in the pet baskets. Take something if you need something, leave something if you have extra. The pet baskets are maintained by the owners, so once supplies are out; they are out until the owners visit again.

DescriThe kitchen comes with a standard setup of pots, pans, plates and utensils. Appliances include an oven, stove, toaster, crockpot and blender. The coffee maker can make a standard pot of coffee or use K-cups. Ice will need to be retrieved from the ice bucket in the freezer.
There are plastic cups, plates and bowls meant to be used on the deck, back patio and near the hot tub.
Closest Grocery Stores:
• Kroger – approximately 15 minutes
• Publix – approximately 20 minutes
Delivery Options:
• Kroger offers seasonal delivery for subscribers.
• Walmart delivers to the cabin for subscribers.
Important Delivery Instructions:
• Select “hand on” delivery only. Do not choose doorstep drop-off. There is wildlife in the area that enjoys hunting from DoorDash just as much as us humans.
• Drivers must inform the gate they are delivering to 2445 Sunset Rd.
Garbage
Once your garbage bag is full or on check out day, please move the garage to the bear safe bin at the top of the driveway. Ensure the door is secured close with pin.
Cooking at the Cabin
Bar Area
The bar hutch has a few wine, whiskey and martini glasses as well as mule mugs, shot glasses and a cocktail mixer. If you enjoy a bottle of wine while visiting, feel free to sign the cork and leave it in the jar provided.
There are a few drinking games provided as well. Please drink responsibly and do not take glass outside. There are plastic cups and plates available in the kitchen.ption text goes here

TV

Extra Lighting
In case the electricity goes out, there should be a small battery powered pattern in dresser.
Closet
Iron
There is an iron and countertop ironing board to use. Please do not leave the iron unattended once plugged in.
Outdoor Games
Connect Four, Jenga and Corn Hole are available for lawn and deck games. Please return the games inside after use.

Available for use and located in the downstairs bathroom.
There is a small container of salt located in the laundry room. Please use on driveway & outdoor walkways before and after freezes.

Dedicated Work Station
For guests who need to work during their stay, the dedicated working station includes
• ASUS mounted monitor
• An HDMI cable
• Simply plug your laptop into the HDMI cable to use the monitor as a second screen.
The workspace offers beautiful scenic views in front of the cabin, making it a peaceful place to focus.
Please do not remove the HDMI cable or alter the setup of the remote working station. We appreciate you leaving it configured for future guests.
Loft TV
It’s meant to move with you! The tv cart is on wheels so it can gently be moved by an adult to the area of the loft most comfortable for you. Just unplug from the wall and plug back in at its destination. Do not unplug or reconfigure any other hook ups on the cart.
Use the power button on the RCA remote to turn the tv on. The RCA remote will only be used to power on & off the TV and to enable Wii play. For remaining functions, use the Roku remote.

Hot Tub
The hot tub is professionally drained and refilled after each guest stay in accordance with local regulations. No action is required upon arrival.
• Default temperature is set to 100°F.
• Guests may increase temperature up to 104°F if desired.
• Always replace and securely fasten the cover when not in use.
Bear Awareness:
Always secure the hot tub cover tightly after each use. Bears in the area have been known to investigate unsecured covers.
Use at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times.
Grill (Propane)
• The grill is located at the back patio.
• Grill utensils are located in the kitchen.
• Do not leave food unattended while grilling.
• Scrub the grill after use.
• Ensure propane is turned off when finished.
• Once grill cools, put cover back on.
Wildlife Reminder: Never leave food outside unattended.
The Smoky Mountains are home to abundant wildlife including black bears, deer, and turkey.
Black bears are native to this area and are a normal part of the mountain environment. They are generally shy and will leave you alone if you keep your distance. Never approach, feed, or attempt to interact with wildlife. Simply observe from afar and enjoy the experience safely.
Parking and Charging
There is sufficient space for two standard sized vehicles at the base of the cabin and garage area.
There is a 220v plug located at the parking spot near the garage for electric vehicle charging.
Stay alert of the weather during your stay. Weather can shift and sometimes be extreme in this area. Please do not drive in unsafe conditions. Contact Grand Welcome (number at the top) if needed.
It is recommended to park at the bottom of the driveway for icy conditions. Shagbark plows neighborhood roads after snow.
Annex Building
It is not occupied but also not certified for occupation by guests. Please do not enter.
